Born in London, England; studied at London's Central School of Art and Design. Costume designer for British film and television who entered the business with Merchant-Ivory's "Hullabaloo Over Georgie and Bonnie's Pictures" (1978, TV). She collaborated with John Bright on nine films and shared Oscar nominations with him for six of them.
