Brother of composer and sound re-recording mixer Todd Boekelheide. Sound and sound effects editor and sound designer for American film since the early 1980s. Other notable credits include DRAGONSLAYER (1981), AMADEUS (1984), THE MOSQUITO COAST (1986), CADILLAC MAN (1990), JOHNNY MNEMONIC (1995), SPECIES (1995), and JAKOB THE LIAR (1999). As picture editor, his credits include THE METHOD (1989), SING FASTER: THE STAGEHANDS' RING CYCLE (1999), WHO OWNS THE PAST? (2000), VALLEY OF THE HEART'S DELIGHT (2006), and GENERIC THRILLER (2007).
