Art director and production designer for American film and television since 1974. Other notable production design credits include PARADISE ALLEY (1978), XANADU (1980), BUSTIN' LOOSE (1981), HEARTBEEPS (1981), PSYCHO II (1983), SIXTEEN CANDLES (1984), THE BREAKFAST CLUB and WEIRD SCIENCE (both 1985), PRETTY IN PINK and FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF (both 1986), PLANES, TRAINS & AUTOMOBILES (1987), THE GREAT OUTDOORS and SHE'S HAVING A BABY (both 1988) and his last feature film, UNCLE BUCK (1989).  Nominated for Art Direction/Set Decoration 1980: COAL MINER'S DAUGHTER - Art Direction 1 nomination
