Little Shop of Horrors (1986)

As former Executive Vice-President for Creative Technology and Research & Development at Walt Disney Imagineering, Ferren managed resources for new technology and creative input for the entire company. In addition to running this group, he was involved in many new theme park projects, including at Walt Disney World: "The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror," "The extra TERRORestrial Alien Encounter," "Honey I Shrunk the Audience," "Innovension," the new General Motors attraction at EPCOT, and at Disneyland: "The Indiana Jones Adventure." As of 2006, Ferren was co-chairman of the consulting firm Applied Minds.

Other notable film credits include visual effects for ALTERED STATES (1980), TEMPEST (1982), PLACES IN THE HEART (1984), MAKING MR. RIGHT (1987) and STAR TREK V: THE FINAL FRONTIER and SECOND SIGHT (both 1989). Ferren produced, directed and shot the 1989 documentary FUNNY.
