Writer, producer & director in American film and television whose credits include "Lotsa Luck" (1973-74, TV series - writer), "Chico and the Man" (1974, TV series), "Barney Miller" (1975, TV series), THE ONE AND ONLY (1978, writer & producer), "Good Time Harry" (1980, TV series, director & supervising producer), and ARTHUR (1981, writer & director).
