Born in Rye, NY. He was only eight when he captivated filmgoers with his spontaneous performance as the boy over whose custody Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep were battling in KRAMER vs. KRAMER (1979). He won an Academy Award nomination for the role, the youngest performer so honored. His later film appearances of the 80s were unremarkable.
