Jerry Hey

Horn player, composer, orchestrator and conductor who entered American film in the late 1980s. Other notable music credits include THE WIZ (1978 - uncredited orchestrator), RUNNING SCARED (1986 - musician), "Because It's Christmas: Barry Manilow" (1991, video - musician), CITY SLICKERS II: THE LEGEND OF CURLY'S GOLD (1994 - orchestrator), JOHN Q (orchestrator & conductor) and BIG TROUBLE (orchestrator - brass) (both 2002), THE NOTEBOOK (2004, add'l orchestrator), and DREAMGIRLS (2006, music arranger - horns). He wrote the music for the song "Imagination" used in FLASHDANCE (1983) and arranged the music for the 79th Annual Academy Awards show (2007).
