Born in Morristown, NJ. Accomplished, diminutive stage actress (Ah, Wilderness! and End of the World) whose occasional screen appearances, particularly in THE YEAR OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY (1983) -- where she became the first person to win an acting Award for playing someone of the opposite sex -- have been impressive.

Other notable screen credits include POPEYE (1980), THE BOSTONIANS and DUNE (both 1984), SILVERADO (1985), ELENI (1986), SHE-DEVIL (1989), KINDERGARTEN COP (1990), MAVERICK (1994 - scenes deleted), PRÊT-À-PORTER / READY TO WEAR (1994), THE RELIC (1997), DRAGONFLY (2002), YOURS, MINE AND OURS (2005), and STRANGER THAN FICTION (2006). She appeared as Judge Zoey Hiller on the TV series "The Practice" (1997-2002). Hunt also performs extensively as a voice actor, providing narration and character voices for video games, TV series and commercials.
