Born in New York City; son of "B" western & TV actor I. Stanford Jolley (1900-1978). Art director and production designer who started in television in the mid-1950s ("Disneyland" and "Gunsmoke") and stayed with Disney for 10 years. Other notable credits include: (as art director) THE RESTLESS ONES (1965), SUPERMAN (1978), TAPS (1981), THE GRASS HARP (1995) and MR. ED (2000); (as production designer) THE WAR BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN and NIGHT OF THE LEPUS (also 2nd unit director) (both 1972), WALKING TALL (1973), THE SWARM (1978), AMERICATHON (1979, also 2nd unit director), CADDYSHACK (1980), THE GOOD MOTHER (1988) and DUTCH (1991). He has also directed for television.
