Roger Kellaway
(1939 -     )

Born in Waban, MA. Kellaway entered American television in 1970 with the score for "The Psychiatrist: God Bless the Children" (a.k.a. "Children of the Lotus Eater"). His film scoring credits include THE LEGEND OF HILLBILLY JOHN (1974), LEGACY and A STAR IS BORN (both 1976), THE MOUSE AND HIS CHILD (1977), THE MAFU CAGE (1978), THE DARK (1979), RUNNING SCARED and THE SILENT SCREAM (both 1980), JAWS OF SATAN and EVILSPEAK (both 1981) and SATAN'S MISTRESS (1982).

In television, Kellaway collaborated with Carol O'Connor on the closing theme to the series "All in the Family" (1971). He composed scores for the TV movies "Sharon: Portrait of a Mistress" (1977), "The Two Lives of Carol Letner" (1981) and "Journey of the Heart" (1997).

Kellaway has also conducted scores for a number of Broadway shows and has had his works performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, the Budapest Studio Orchestra, the London Symphony and the National Philharmonic Orchestra of London, as well as composing a number of jazz hits and arranging rock music during the seventies. In recent years, Kellaway continues his jazz hits for CDs and records, owns his own music company and has, so far, "retired" from performing music for film.
