Atlantic City (1981)
Producer who entered Canadian film as a film editor for the National Film Board of Canada in 1959. He edited short films, then progressed to feature length documentaries, most notably as writer, producer and editor of BETHUNE (1964). He continued working in documentaries until 1971, when he produced SEVEN TIMES A DAY / 7 FOIS... PAR JOUR. Other notable feature producing credits include THE APPRENTICESHIP OF DUDDY KRAVITZ (1974), WHITE LINE FEVER (1975), SHADOW OF THE HAWK (1976), ICE CASTLES (1978), QUEST FOR FIRE (1981), THE BAY BOY (1984), THE BOY IN BLUE and THE WRAITH (both 1986), THE GATE (1987), IRON EAGLE II (1988), MAGYAR REKVIEM / HUNGARIAN REQUIEM (1990), and THE GATE II: TRESPASSERS (1992).

From the mid-1980s, Kemeny produced mainly for television, including "Murderers Among Us: The Simon Wiesenthal Story" (1989) and "The Josephine Baker Story" (1991), for both of which he received Emmy® nominations.
