The Absent-Minded Waiter (1977)
Began as a record producer and artists' manager of such groups as the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (in which his brother John played), Duane and Greg Allman, Steve Martin, Mason Williams and the Sunshine Company. Produced several of Steve Martin's films and TV specials, including THE ABSENT-MINDED WAITER (1977), "Steve Martin: A Wild and Crazy Guy" (1978), THE JERK (1979), "Steve Martin: Comedy Isn't Pretty" (1980), DEAD MEN DON'T WEAR PLAID (1982), THE MAN WITH TWO BRAINS (1983) and THE LONELY GUY (1984, exec. producer). McEuen also produced COLD DOG SOUP (1990) and was executive producer of PEE-WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE (1985) and THE BIG PICTURE (1989).
