Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)

Optical photography supervisor and digital compositor who entered American film as an optical camera assistant for George Lucas' STAR WARS (1977). At ILM from the late 1970s to 1990, Nicholson supervised optical photography or overall visual effects for such un-nominated films as DRAGONSLAYER (1981), STAR TREK: THE WRATH OF KHAN (1982), RETURN OF THE JEDI (1983), THE NEVERENDING STORY and INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM (both 1984), EXPLORERS (1985), HOWARD THE DUCK (1986), *batteries not included (1987), WILLOW (1988), FIELD OF DREAMS and ALWAYS (both 1989) and GHOST (1990).
