Zoran Perisic
(1940 -     )

Born in Prokupije, Serbia, Yugoslavia. The man who made Superman "fly." He is an inventor and holder of several patents on Front-Projection and 3-D Cinematography. He was Special Effects Director/Supervisor or Consultant on 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY (1968, uncredited - animation stand), LAND OF THE MINOTAUR (1976), SUPERMAN (1978), SUPERMAN II (1980), SUPERMAN III (1983), RETURN TO OZ (1985) and SKY BANDITS (1986 - also producer). In 1995, Perisic produced and directed THE PHOENIX AND THE MAGIC CARPET, starring Peter Ustinov and Dee Wallace-Stone. He is the author of Visual Effects Cinematography (2000).
