Jim Peterik
Biography from Lycos Music

This US keyboardist/composer started his career as a session musician. His first taste of success came with the Ides Of March, who hit US number 2 in March 1970 with "Vehicle". It was 1977, however, before he finally recorded a solo album. Don't Fight The Feeling was a mature, melodic rock album that drew comparisons with Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen and Michael Bolton. However, it made little headway and Peterik returned to session work, guesting on Sammy Hagar and .38 Special albums. In 1978, he formed Survivor with guitarist Frankie Sullivan and went on to multi-platinum success.
