The Deer Hunter (1978)

Associate producer and assistant director who entered British film in 1958 (UP THE CREEK, 1st a.d.). Notable producing credits include THE LAND THAT TIME FORGOT (1975), THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH (1976), THE DEER HUNTER (1978), QUADROPHENIA (1979) and McVICAR (1980). Many of his assistant director credits in the 1950s and 60s were at Hammer Films (e.g., THE MUMMY, THE BRIDES OF DRACULA, THE CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, et al.).  Best Picture 1978: THE DEER HUNTER - Producer at EMI Films/Cimino (w.
