Working as a producer at Atlantis Films, Platt's producing credits include a number of short films: THE OLDEN DAYS COAT and I KNOW A SECRET (both 1982), BOYS AND GIRLS (1983), THE PAINTED DOOR, JOHN CAT, A GOOD TREE and ALL THE YEARS (all 1984), TO SET OUR HOUSE IN ORDER, THE SIGHT, THE LEGS OF THE LAME and THE CONCERT STAGES OF EUROPE (all 1985), and RED SHOES, THE REBELLION OF YOUNG DAVID, JACK OF HEARTS, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HACKER JOHN, THE DREAM AND THE TRIUMPH and the TV series "Air Waves" (all 1986).
