Larry Stensvold

Son of cinematographer Alan Stensvold (1908-1981). Prolific sound re-recording mixer for film and television who entered American film as a sound recordist for A.W.O.L. (1980). Other notable credits include PERSONAL BEST and DINER (both 1982), VALLEY GIRL and TESTAMENT (both 1983), AGAINST ALL ODDS, SWING SHIFT, THE NATURAL, THIEF OF HEARTS and TERROR IN THE AISLES (all 1984), DAY OF THE DEAD and OUT OF AFRICA (both 1985), ELIMINATORS, THE DELTA FORCE, FIRE WITH FIRE, INVADERS FROM MARS, TOUCH AND GO and ¡THREE AMIGOS! (all 1986), BLIND DATE, AMAZING GRACE AND CHUCK, and AMAZON WOMEN ON THE MOON (all 1987), A NIGHT IN THE LIFE OF JIMMY REARDON and AFTER THE RAIN (both 1988), ARTICLE 99 and THE NUTT HOUSE (both 1992), IT WAS A WONDERFUL LIFE and TAKING LIBERTY (both 1993), TRIAL BY JURY (1994), OUT-OF-SYNC, LAST SUMMER IN THE HAMPTONS and VOICES (all 1995), SHE'S SO LOVELY (1997), REDEMPTION OF THE HEART (2002), FACE OF TERROR (2003), and STRIKE THE TENT (2005).

Since 1990, most of Stensvold's work has been for television series, mini-series and made-for-TV movies, most notably "Tales from the Crypt" (1989, TV series - 10 episodes), "The Shining" (1997, TV mini-series), "Dune" (2000, TV mini-series), "One Tree Hill" (2003-04, TV series 22 episodes), "She Spies" (2002-04, TV series - 13 episodes) and "Veronica Mars" (2004-07, TV series - 14 episodes).
