Blackwood (1976)

Director and, later, producer at the National Film Board of Canada from 1971 to 1989, most notably producing the series "Canada Vignettes" from 1978 to 1979. After leaving the NFB, Thompson's producing credits include STRANGERS IN THE HOUSE (1997), GAME OVER: KASPAROV AND THE MACHINE (2003), and several episodes for "Destiny Ridge" (1993, TV series) and several made-for-TV movies.  Nominated for Documentary (Short Subjects) 1976: BLACKWOOD - Producer (w.
