The Tiffen Company, founded in 1938 by Tiffen and his two brothers, has a long-established relationship with the motion picture and television industries. Tiffen filters, backed by a ten-year warranty, are used in almost every major movie and TV production around the world. Tiffen is also known for its digital camera accessories, Davis & Sanford tripods, Domke bags, Saunders Easels, Saunders/LPL Enlargers, Silver Pixel Press and KODAK Books, Stroboframe flash brackets, and a number of other photo accessory product lines. Tiffen's headquarters and a manufacturing site are in Hauppauge, New York. Additional manufacturing, marketing and distribution operations are in Rochester, New York and St. Louis, Missouri. Tiffen Technical Centers, designed as communication exchanges between Tiffen and the motion picture industry, are located in New York City and in Burbank, California.
