John K. "Doc" Wilkinson
(1920 - 2002)

Born in Harford, Connecticut. Sound re-recording mixer of over 100 film and TV projects who entered American film as a sound recordist for THE COLOSSUS OF NEW YORK (1958). Other notable (non-nominated) credits include THE FIVE PENNIES (1959), BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S (1961), HUD (1963), WILL PENNY (1968), MEAN STREETS (1973), CHINATOWN (1974, uncredited), MARATHON MAN (1976), BLACK SUNDAY (1977), HEAVEN CAN WAIT (1978), AMERICAN GIGOLO (1980), NO WAY OUT and WALL STREET (both 1987), LIONHEART (1990), YEAR OF THE GUN (1991) and THE RESURRECTED (1992). His last film was RESCUE ME (1993) as sound re-recording mixer.
