Started editing in American television with the TV series "Maverick" (1957) and "Combat!" (1962). Worked as associate film editor on THE WILD BUNCH (1969) and then collaborated on MONTE WALSH (1970). Other notable (non-nominated) credits, alone or in collaboration, include STRAW DOGS (1971, editorial consultant), THE GETAWAY (1972), PAT GARRETT AND BILLY THE KID (1973), THE TERMINAL MAN (1974), THE WIND AND THE LION (1975), THE DEEP (1977, supervising editor), BIG WEDNESDAY (1978) and THE HUNTER (1980).
