Visual effects supervisor who began his career in the special effects industry as a camera assistant for George Lucas's Industrial Light & Magic. After working on most of the major effects films to come out of the 70's and 80's, starting with THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (1980), Barron started his own company, Matte World Digital, an effects house that specializes in realistic digital mattes and miniatures for features and television, in 1989.
