Born in Wales, UK. First made his mark with BUGSY MALONE (1976), the first of a series of collaborations with director Alan Parker, and has since established himself as an accomplished visual stylist. Other notable credits include Monty Python's LIFE OF BRIAN (1979), Terry Gilliam's TIME BANDITS (1981), Parker's PINK FLOYD - THE WALL (1982) and Adrian Lyne's 9-1/2 WEEKS (1986). Biziou was also d.p. or cinematographer for FRAGMENT (1965, interior photography), L'ÉCHELLE BLANCHE / SECRET WORLD (1969), OUR CISSY and FOOTSTEPS (both 1974), SHORT ENDS (1976), ANOTHER COUNTRY (1984), MISSISSIPPI BURNING and A WORLD APART (both 1988), ROSENCRANTZ & GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD (1990), CITY OF JOY and DAMAGE (both 1992), IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER (1993), THE ROAD TO WELLVILLE (1994), RICHARD III (1995), THE TRUMAN SHOW (1998), UNFAITHFUL (2002), FESTIVAL EXPRESS (2003), LADIES IN LAVENDER (2004) and DERAILED (2005).
