Ewa Braun

Born in Kraków, Poland. Set decorator, production designer and costume designer who entered Polish film in 1971 designing costumes for KLOPOTLIWY GOSC / TROUBLESOME VISITOR. She stopped designing costumes after 1979 and has concentrated on set decoration and production design. Credits include SLONA RÓZA / SALTY ROSE (1983), FUCHA (1986=5), C.K. DEZERTERZY / THE DESERTERS (1986), I SKRZYPCE PRZESTALY GRAC / AND THE VIOLIN STOPPED PLAYIIG and WHEREVER YOU ARE (both 1988), LAVA (1989), EUROPA, EUROPA (1990), BELTENEBROS / PRINCE OF SHADOWS (1991), LA PETITE APOCALYPSE and SCHINDLER'S LIST (both 1993), LES MILLES and WIELKI TYDZIEN / HOLY WEEK (both 1995), BANDYTA / BASTARD and UN AIR SI PUR.../AN AIR SO PURE (both 1997), ZLOTO DEZERTORÓW (1998), and JAKOB THE LIAR (1999). In 2004, Braun returned to costume design for DO POTOMNEGO.
