American filmmaker who began in documentaries. Cantor's credits include BLOOD TIES: THE LIFE AND WORK OF SALLY MANN (1994), RECON (1996), BOUNCE: BEHIND THE VELVET ROPE (2000), "Crossover" (2001, TV), DEVIL'S PLAYGROUND (2002), WHAT REMAINS (2005), loudQUIETloud: A FILM ABOUT THE PIXIES (2006), and JAMES BLOUNT IN KOSOVO (2007). He also wrote and directed the mock-documentary ENDSVILLE (2000).
Cantor is a graduate of the USC School of Cinema-Television and a partner in Stick Figure Productions. Prior to film school, Cantor was a commercial and music video director and a segment producer for MTV's "House of Style." He was executive producer for the episodes of the series "Amish in the City" and "Family Bonds" (both 2004), "The Biz" (2005), "#1 Single" (2006), and "Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane" (2007).
