Doug Chiang

Born in Taipei, Taiwan. Visual effects art direction supervisor who entered American film in 1990 (GHOST). Other notable credits include THE DOORS, SWITCH and TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY (all 1991), DEATH BECOMES HER (1992), FORREST GUMP and THE MASK (both 1994), THE POLAR EXPRESS (2004, prod. designer), WAR OF THE WORLDS (2005), and BEOWULF (2007, prod. designer). As director of concept design at ILM, he credits STAR WARS: EPISODE I -- THE PHANTOM MENACE (1999) and STAR WARS: EPISODE II -- ATTACK OF THE CLONES (2002).
