Christine Choy

Born in New York City. Documentary filmmaker whose credits include MISSISSIPPI TRIANGLE (1984), PERMANENT WAVE (1986, co-director), WHO KILLED VINCET CHIN? (1987), "The Best Hotel on Skid Row" (1990, TV), A LITANY FOR SURVIVAL: THE LIFE AND WORK OF AUDRE LORDE (1995, cinematographer), MY AMERICA... OR HONK IF LOVE BUDDHA (1996, cinematographer), THE SHOT HEARD 'ROUND THE WORLD and WRONGFUL DEATH: HATTON VS. PEAIRS (both 1997), IN THE NAME OF THE EMPEROR (1998) and HA HA SHANGHAI (2001).

She is Director of the new School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong.
