American documentary filmmaker whose credits (as producer and director) include THE CHILDREN'S STOREFRONT (1988), CHIMPS: SO LIKE US (1990), "Heart of a Child" (CableACE Award winner) and "The American Experience: The Telephone" (both TV, both 1997), "Kindergarten" (2001, TV mini-series), "National Geographic: The Incredible Human Body" (2002, TV), "Smashed: Toxic Tales of Teens and Alcohol" (2004, TV), 2 episodes of "Coming Out Stories" (both 2006, TV), and REHEARSING A DREAM (also 2006). Goodman directed "Buckminster Fuller: Thinking Out Loud" for "American Masters" (1996, TV).

With Kirk Simon, her partner in the Simon & Goodman Picture Company, Goodman shared a News & Documentary Emmy® Award for CHIMPS: SO LIKE US.
