Makeup designer and artist who, along with Rick Baker and Kevin Reardon, was one of Dick Smith's closest protégés. Haney entered American film in 1982 with BASKET CASE. Other notable credits include AMITYVILLE 3-D (1983), SCREAM FOR HELP and C.H.U.D. (both 1984), COCOON (1985), WISE GUYS (1986), THE BELIEVERS (1987), POLTERGEIST III and EVERYBODY'S ALL-AMERICAN (both 1988), DRIVING MISS DAISY (1989), DICK TRACY (1990), THE ADDAMS FAMILY (1991), THE BABE and DEATH BECOMES HER (both 1992), BORN YESTERDAY, HOCUS POCUS and ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES (all 1993), THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION (1994), CHAMELEON (1995), THE CHAMBER (1996), ROMY AND MICHELE'S HIGH SCHOOL REUNION and AIR FORCE ONE (both 1997), DR. SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS (2000), ANTITRUST, PLANET OF THE APES and ARTIFICIAL INTELLEGENCE: A.I. (Flesh Fair only) (all 2001), MEN IN BLACK II (2002), THE SHAPE OF THINGS (2003), MIRACLE and JIMINY GLICK IN LALAWOOD (both 2004), ANGELS WITH ANGLES (2005), THE SANTA CLAUSE 3: THE ESCAPE CLAUSE (2006), and WALK HARD: THE DEWEY COX STORY (2007).

Haney's work for television includes the series "Monsters" (1988), "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" and "The X-Files" (both 1993), "Friends" (1996-2000), "Primetime Glick" (2003), "Star Trek: New Voyages" (2006), and "Medium" (2007), as well as the made-for-TV movies "The Show Formerly Known as the Martin Short Show" and "Kissinger and Nixon" (both 1995), "The Rat Pack" (1998), and "Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows" (2001).
