Born in Krosno, Poland. Model maker, animatronics designer and modelshop supervisor who entered American film with SUPERMAN (1978). Other notable credits include THE GREAT MUPPET CAPER (1981 - Muppet technical design), "Fraggle Rock" (1983, TV series - Muppet special effects), SUPERGIRL (1984), HOWARD THE DUCK (1986), *batteries not included (1987), and CADDYSHACK II (1988). In the late 1980s, Krzanowski was a co-founder of WKR Productions, a model effects production company. Subsequent projects include BACK TO THE FUTURE II (1989), BACK TO THE FUTURE III (1990), MEMOIRS OF AN INVISIBLE MAN (1992), CLIFFHANGER (1993), TERMINAL VELOCITY, LOVE AFFAIR and DISCLOSURE (all 1994), TANK GIRL, CRIMSON TIDE and UNDER SIEGE 2: DARK TERRITORY (all 1995), BROKEN ARROW and THE ROCK (both 1996), AMISTAD, TOMORROW NEVER DIES and EVENT HORIZON (both 1997), U.S. MARSHALS, GODZILLA and SOLDIER (all 1998), and U-571 (2000).  Technical Achievement Award (Certificate) 1987: (Industrial Light and Magic Inc.) - For the development of a Wire Rig Model Support Mechanism used to control the movements of miniatures in special effects. 1 Scientific/Technical Award
