Born in Los Angeles, CA. Actress who began her career on TV as the adolescent daughter in the series, "I Married Dora," the Showtime miniseries, HOMEFIRES (both 1987), and opposite Robert Mitchum in the series, "A Family For Joe" (1990). Lewis subsequently starred as a 15-year-old girl facing the death penalty for murder in the TV movie, "Too Young To Die" (1990).

Lewis made her feature debut playing Chevy Chase's daughter in NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CHRISTMAS VACATION (1989) and won critical acclaim as a vulnerable 15-year-old struggling for independence from her warring parents in Martin Scorsese's CAPE FEAR (1991). (Lewis herself had been legally emancipated from her parents at age 14.)

She fronts a rock band called "Juliette and the Licks" which toured on Van's Warped Tour in 2004. Lewis was married to professional skateboarder Steve Berra from 1999 to 2005. Her father is actor Geoffrey Lewis, a regular in Clint Eastwood's films and frontman of the musical group Celestial Navigations. Her brother is actor Lightfield Lewis (b. 1970), and her sister is actress Dierdre Lewis.
