The Piano (1993)
Production designer and costume designer who began working with Jane Campion in Australian television in the mid-1980s: "Palace of Dreams" (1985, mini-series: costumes), "Two Friends" (1986, production design and costumes), "Edens Lost" (1988, production design) and "Come in Spinner" (1990, production design).

Patterson's feature design credits include THE LAST DAYS OF CHEZ NOUS (1992, production design and costumes), THE PIANO (1993, costume design), THE PORTRAIT OF A LADY (1996, production design and costumes), OSCAR AND LUCINDA (1997, costume design), HOLY SMOKE (1999, production design and costumes) and PETER PAN (2003, costume design).

Patterson won awards from the Australian Film Institute for her costume designs for THE LAST DAYS OF CHEZ NOUS in 1992, THE PIANO in 1993 (also BAFTA Award, 1994) and OSCAR AND LUCINDA in 1998.
