Gary Rydstrom
(1959 -     )

Born in Chicago, IL, Gary Rydstrom, one of the industry's most honored sound designers and re-recording mixers, joined Skywalker Sound in 1983 as a machine room operator. Since then, he has contributed his talents to many projects as a sound designer, re-recording mixer, effects mixer, and foley mixer. Rydstrom holds a graduate degree from the U.S.C School of Television and Cinema.
