Born in Philadelphia, PA. Sister of director Steven Spielberg. Production executive and writer who assisted her brother on some of his early films: ESCAPE TO NOWHERE (1961, where she played a soldier), FIRELIGHT (1964) and AMBLIN' (1968). She wrote an episode for his "Amazing Stories" TV series entitled "What If...?" (1986). As an associate producer, she credits DEATH: THE ULTIMATE MYSTERY (1975), LABORABORY (1980), THE KILLINGS AT OUTPOST ZETA (1980), ESCAPE FROM DS-3 (1981, producer) and BIG (1988, co-producer).
