Internationally recognized as an "Environmental Renaissance Man," Gary Zeller is both a creative scientist, inventor and consultant who combines the disciplines of polymer chemistry, plastics engineering and ecology.

As a longstanding certified member of the prestigious Society of Plastics Engineers, "Dr. Z" has pioneered the development of progressive recycling techniques for converting industrial and post-consumer waste into valuable new materials and products. His innovative, energy-efficient systems for manufacturing, recycling and construction have been accepted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and industrial clients around the world.

Among many honors, Zeller is particularly proud of the Academy Award® for Scientific Achievement he received for inventing the industry classic "ZEL-JELTM" Stunt Gel - a 100% natural, non-burning thermal barrier safety product which revolutionized the creative scope of pyrotechnicians, special effects and stuntpeople around the world. In conjunction with "ZEL-JELTM", his book Pyrotechnics: The Art of the Fire Stunt created an industry safety standard never before achieved.

Zeller is an accredited member of the National Fire Protection Association and a respected authority on fire protection chemistry, products, procedures, standards and codes.
