Born in Deventer, The Netherlands; moved to the US in the 1980s. Production executive who entered American film as a line producer for MY DEMON LOVER (1987). He co-produced GLORY (1989) and was executive producer for CONSENTING ADULTS (1992) and THE VANISHING and FATAL INSTINCT (both 1993). His other credits as producer include THE PELICAN BRIEF (also 1993), CLIFFORD (1994), HEAT (1995), BULWORTH (1998).
