Keyboard player who composed the score for INSIDE-OUT (1999), Hartley wrote two new songs with Sting for THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE (2000) after the Disney Studio drastically revised the plot and rendered many of Sting's original songs unusable. Hartley's music was also used for THE SWEATBOX (2002), a behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE.
