David Hartley

© Disney Enterprises, Inc. Keyboard player who composed the score for INSIDE-OUT (1999), Hartley wrote two new songs with Sting for THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE (2000) after the Disney Studio drastically revised the plot and rendered many of Sting's original songs unusable. Hartley's music was also used for THE SWEATBOX (2002), a behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE. He arranged Sting's 2003 Academy Award®-nominated song, "You Will Be My Ain True Love", from COLD MOUNTAIN.
