The Thin Red Line (1998)
Born in Australia; earned a law degree in 1978. Production executive who began in American television movies as a unit production manager for "A Place to Call Home" and "The Facts of Life Down Under" (both 1987). Other unit production manager credits include MINNAMURRA (1989), TILL THERE WAS YOU (1990, production supervisor), SNIPER (1993, unit manager), LIGHTNING JACK (1994, also line producer), STREET FIGHTER (1994, also line producer), CUTTHROAT ISLAND (1995, exec. in charge of production - Thailand), THE GHOST AND THE DARKNESS (1996, also co-producer), TITANIC (1997) and THE THIN RED LINE (1998, also producer). Hill was assoc. producer of THE CROW (1994), executive producer of THE MATRIX RELOADED and producer of THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS (both 2003), and he produced V FOR VENDETTA (2005), SPEED RACER (2008) and TREE OF LIFE (scheduled for release in 2009).
