Graduate of the University of Delaware ('83, '84). Digital effects supervisor, Digital Domain. Entered American film as a software designer for TOTAL RECALL (1990). He was technical director of LAST ACTION HERO and c.g. supervisor for IN THE LINE OF FIRE (both 1993). Other vfx credits include INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE: THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES (1994), APOLLO 13 (1995), TITANIC (1997) and HOLLOW MAN (2000). Lasoff received an Emmy® Award as animation supervisor for the opening of NBC-TV's 1992 Summer Olympics. Today, he is art director for Electronic Arts, the world's leading interactive entertainment software company.
