Visual effects supervisor (Digital Domain) who began as a vfx coordinator and episode director of TV's "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987). He also directed an episode of "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (1993). Other notable vfx credits include INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE: THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES (1994), APOLLO 13 (1995), TITANIC (1997), ARMAGEDDON (1998), WHAT LIES BENEATH (2000), HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE (2001, also 2nd unit director), BAD BOYS II (2003), THE AVIATOR (2004), THE DEPARTED and THE GOOD SHEPHERD (both 2006), THE KEY TO RESERVA (2007), and AVATAR and BATTLE ANGEL (both scheduled for release in 2009).
