Born in Allentown, PA; family moved to Los Angeles when he was 3 months old; graduated from USC Film School. Documentary filmmaker who started his film career as an intern for producer Lauren Schuler Donner, who assigned him to be assistant to director Francis Veber on OUT ON A LIMB (1992, associate producer). Other producing and/or directing credits include "Survivors of the Holocaust" (1996, TV), THE LOST CHILDREN OF BERLIN (1997), THE LAST DAYS (1998, director), A HOLOCAUST SZEMEI / EYES OF THE HOLOCAUST (2000), PAMEITAM / I REMEMBER, PRICE FOR PEACE and "Broken Silence" (TV mini-series) (all 2002), "Burma Bridge Busters" (2003, TV), A REMARKABLE PROMISE and "The Four Chaplains: Sacrifice at Sea" (TV) (both 2004), "Ten Days That Unexpectedly Changed America: Massacre at Mystic" (TV) and INHERITANCE (both 2006), and RUNNING THE SAHARA and GOING POSTAL (both scheduled for release in 2008).

Moss is a co-founder of the Shoah Foundation with Steven Spielberg and June Beallor.
