Born in Kingston, NY. Michael Paxton brought his experience in live action film, animation and theatre to AYN RAND: A SENSE OF LIFE. An award-winning graduate of New York University's Graduate Institute of Film and TV, his short film FORBIDDEN FRUIT won Best Screenplay and Best Editing at the NYU Film Festival in 1988. In 1989, he co-produced and directed the award-winning world premiere of Ayn Rand's play Ideal at the Melrose Theater in Hollywood. In 1991, he adapted and directed a dramatic presentation of Miss Rand's futuristic novelette, Anthem, to sold-out houses at Hollywood's Lex Theatre. Mr. Paxton was the Assistant Director on the live-action/animated feature, THE PAGEMASTER, for Turner Pictures in 1995.

Paxton is currently a freelance writer for the Walt Disney Company. He has recently completed scripts for the "Roxy Hunter" series of animated mysteries.
