Production executive at Gracie Films who began in American television as an assistant to James L. Brooks. He directed episodes of "Taxi," "Newhart" and "Who's the Boss?" He was executive in charge of production for BIG (1988), SAY ANYTHING... (1989) and I'LL DO ANYTHING (1994) and produced or executive produced BOTTLE ROCKET and JERRY MAGUIRE (both 1996), AS GOOD AS IT GETS (1997), RIDING IN CARS WITH BOYS (2001), SPANGLISH (2004), and THE SIMPSONS MOVIE (2007).
