Born in Bellevue, WA. With his writing partner Alexander Payne, creator of some of the most innovative and unconventional screenplays in recently released films: INSIDE OUT (1992, video), CITIZEN RUTH (1996), ELECTION (1999), JURASSIC PARK III (2001), ABOUT SCHMIDT (2002), SIDEWAYS and THE LOST CAUSE (also director) (both 2004) and I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK & LARRY (2007). Taylor has directed MEMORY LANE (1995, also writer), LIVING WILL (1999), and THE LOST CAUSE (2004).
