Born in Binghampton, NY; 1981 graduate of the SUNY Purchase film department; received his M.A. in Computer Graphics and Art Education from the Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD) under the Ohio State University. Wedge was animation director for JOE'S APARTMENT (1996) and was a creative supervisor for ALIEN: RESURRECTION (1997). He directed TUBER'S TWO STEP (1985), BALLOON GUY (1987, also animator), BUNNY (1998, also director), ICE AGE (2002) and ROBOTS (2005). His credits as executive producer at Blue Sky Studios include "Gone Nutty" (2002, video), ICE AGE: THE MELTDOWN and NO TIME FOR NUTS (both 2006), and HORTON HEARS A WHO!
