Gosford Park (2001)
Son of producer-director Robert Altman and actress Lotus Corelli. Production designer who entered American film as an assistant film editor for CALIFORNIA SPLIT (1974). He also apprenticed on BUFFALO BILL AND THE INDIANS, OR SITTING BULL'S HISTORY LESSON (1976). He started working in the art department as a property master in the late 1970s: A WEDDING (1978), QUINTET and A PERFECT COUPLE (both 1979), POPEYE (1980), HEALTH, ENDANGERED SPECIES and COME BACK TO THE FIVE AND DIME, JIMMY DEAN, JIMMY DEAN (all 1982) and LADYHAWKE and "The Laundromat" (TV) (both 1985). Production design credits include SECRET HONOR (1984), FOOL FOR LOVE (1985), BEYOND THERAPY and NEAR DARK (both 1987), "The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial" (TV) and "Tanner '88" (TV mini-series) (both 1988), VINCENT & THEO (1990), THE PLAYER (1992), WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT and SHORT CUTS (both 1993), PRÊT-À-PORTER (1994), KANSAS CITY (1996), GROSSE POINTE BLANK (1997, also 2nd unit director), THE GINGERBREAD MAN (1998), COOKIE'S FORTUNE (1999, also 2nd unit director), DR. T & THE WOMEN (2000), "The Ballad of Lucy Whipple" (TV) and GOSFORD PARK (both 2001), THE BIG BOUNCE and RAY (both 2004), THE SISTERS and LOOKING FOR COMEDY IN THE MUSLIM WORLD (both 2005), HOT ROD (2007), and LOVELY, STILL (scheduled for release in 2009).
