theOscarSite Bio: In 2000, screenwriter Michael Arndt had no credits, no agents, no publishing history when he took a year off to write "a salable script" -- LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE. Six years -- and a hundred re-writes -- later, the writer has a $60 million sleeper hit, an agent at Endeavor, an Oscar® for original screenplay and a staff job working for the company that creates the best comedy scripts in America: Pixar Animation Studios. He's currently working on the screenplay for TOY STORY 3, scheduled for release in 2010.
