The only actresses younger than Abigail were Tatum O'Neal (10 years, 3 months), Mary Badham (10 years, 4 months), and Quinn Cummings (10 years, 6 months).

Since 2002, she has performed in films such as SIGNS (2002), RAISING HELEN, THE PRINCESS DIARIES 2: ROYAL ENGAGEMENT, KEANE, and CHESTNUT: HERO OF CENTRAL PARK (all 2004), LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, IMAGINARY FRIEND, THE ULTIMATE GIFT and THE SANTA CLAUSE 3: THE ESCAPE CLAUSE (all 2006), NO RESERVATIONS (2007), DEFINITELY, MAYBE, NIM'S ISLAND and KIT KITTERDGE: AN AMERICAN GIRL (all 2008), and MY SISTER'S KEEPER (scheduled for release in 2009).
