Costume designer who entered American film as a costumer for THE ALLNIGHTER (1987). During the late 1980s, she worked as costume supervisor for such features as TAPEHEADS (1988), CHECKING OUT (1989) and MISSISSIPPI MASALA (1991). She has designed extensively for television, and her feature film design credits include EQUINOX (1992), YOUNGER AND YOUNGER (1993), DEVIL IN A BLUE DRESS (1995), MONEY TALKS (1997), DOCTOR DOLITTLE and RUSH HOUR (both 1998), NUTTY PROFESSOR II: THE KLUMPS (2000), DOUBLE TAKE (2001), HIGH CRIMES and ANTWONE FISHER (both 2002), OUT OF TIME (2003), RAY (2004), BEAUTY SHOP (2005), AKEELAH AND THE BEE, DREAMGIRLS and THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS (all 2006), and THE GREAT DEBATERS (2007).  Nominated for Achievement in Costume Design 2004: RAY  Nominated for Achievement in Costume Design 2006: DREAMGIRLS 2 nominations
